Sakura Tenkara Sao Kongo
I was given this rod as a gift on my trip to visit Yuzo Sebata, it was quite a surprise to say the least. It is interesting to me that it is a Sakura rod from a long time ago.
てんから竿金剛 is the name of the rod. "Tenkara-sao Kongo" The very first model of graphite yarn was used for the rod. It was made in 1980s'.
It is slow Seki Rei kind of action.

Sakura Kawakaze Tenkara Rod
Sakura Kawakaze is a Tenkara rod of the early years, 30 years ago. It was made in conjunction with Gyoshin Suzuki and Sakura made various kinds of Tenkara rods then and now.
